Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company in the United States is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order support while maintaining a clean, organized store.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will handle payments, load and deliver orders, and help drive store sales goals while providing dependable, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver''s license required, must pass all background items and physical.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers in a professional manner.
• Ability to use a computer and keyboard for order processing and customer support.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40-60 pounds routinely, including standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to operate a hand truck and/or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when needed
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed
