Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Charlotte, NC is hiring a part-time store associate to load/unload deliveries, assist customers, and maintain product displays. You will work at Store #2418, provide service, answer questions, and recommend solutions while upholding store standards.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, occasional evenings/weekends, and a commitment to safety and accuracy in transactions. Previous retail or paint-sales experience is a plus; bilingual Spanish helpful.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs., with frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
