Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Morse, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to work with the Store Manager to organize, plan, and implement store strategies. You will support customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, finances, and store safety.

You will supervise and train store staff, contact customers to generate sales leads, and help drive sales while ensuring compliance and a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build and maintain knowledge of all products to recommend to customers.
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising, including promo packages and displays.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer and/or employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share.
