Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to work with the Store Manager to plan and implement strategies in a Sherwin-Williams paint store.

You will support all areas of store operations, including customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, finances, and store safety. The role includes supervising and training staff and contacting customers to generate sales leads; a typical 44-hour week with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have at least a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build knowledge of all products to make effective customer recommendations.
• Build relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising, including displays.
• Support employee training and performance management.
• Resolve customer and employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share.
