Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with safety in mind.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work with ladders.
• Welding experience is helpful, but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Production Manager to meet production goals.
• Coordinate daily activities of production departments and delegate tasks.
• Interpret blueprints and job orders to workers.
• Plan and organize work to meet the schedule.
• Maintain production workflow between departments.
• Monitor production for quality and adjust as necessary.
• Troubleshoot production problems as they occur.
• Train new production employees to speed up onboarding.
• Check production equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Promote safety and efficient use of materials.
• Communicate schedules and changes across the organization.
• Inspect products and equipment for defects.
