Global Power Components is seeking a Paint Prep team member to support Industrial Painters and keep production moving efficiently. You will prepare materials, surfaces, tools, and equipment for painting, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates are dependable, hands-on, eager to learn, and able to follow instructions while maintaining quality. Onsite shifts with overtime opportunities are available in Milwaukee, WI.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred, but not required.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to follow work instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production area and wear required PPE.

Responsabilités

• Assist painters by preparing materials, tools, and supplies for each job.
• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, and other preparation methods.
• Mask and protect areas not to be painted.
• Move materials and equipment within the paint department as needed.
• Set up workstations so painters have necessary supplies and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint area and tools.
