Job summary

Hunter Engineering Company is seeking a Paint Line Operator for the 1st shift (7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday) in Durant, MS. You will receive, store, and move materials to support the paint line, loading and unloading with conveyors and material handling equipment.

Qualified applicants bring a high school diploma or GED and basic math skills; forklift and crane familiarity is a plus. The role offers overtime opportunities and a competitive starting rate of $21.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Mechanical work experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all safety rules.
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends.
• Move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
• Load/unload materials from the paint line conveyor system.
• Sort and place materials after painting process.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
