Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in automotive, industrial, or aircraft spray painting.
• Proficiency with spray painting equipment and finishing processes.
• Strong mechanical skills with hand tools.
• Experience mentoring or coordinating others preferred.
• Proficient with SAP for inventory and routing.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard painting and finishing tasks on the line.
• Operate spray painting equipment and set up lines.
• Maintain and clean paint lines; conduct finish quality checks.
• Provide day-to-day direction to team members.
• Train and mentor employees on line processes and safety.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety; escalate issues.
• Coordinate workflow and support shift handoffs.
• Cross-train across paint lines and finishing processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety PPE and hazardous materials handling.
• Provide feedback on performance and process improvements.
• Act as role model for attendance and overtime expectations.
