Toyota Material Handling North America is seeking a Paint Department Supervisor in East Chicago, IN. You will lead the Paint department, collaborate with leaders across functions, and drive strategic direction with a focus on excellence and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership, a Bachelor’s in Operations Management, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills to influence senior stakeholders and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in steel fabrication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or equivalent education/experience.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of manufacturing personnel in the Paint department.
• Lead department scheduling and set priorities based on the company plan.
• Provide leadership in navigating complex challenges for operational efficiency and organizational success.
• Supervise inventory compliance and maintenance of supplies.
• Analyze and provide solutions to manufacturing challenges.
