Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in a high-volume hardware retail environment.
• At least 3+ years of experience with paint products, including tinting, mixing, and color matching.
• Prior experience leading, training, or supervising other associates.
• Self-motivated and available to work weekend hours.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs frequently and operate a forklift safely.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and schedule a team of Paint Sales associates.
• Oversee daily department operations, stocking levels, and merchandising.
• Handle escalated color-matching, tinting, or product issues.
• Assist customers with paint product selection and application questions.
• Ensure the department maintains a professional, welcoming, shopper-friendly environment.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering with the department manager.
