The Norfolk Companies in Boston, MA is seeking a Paint Department Supervisor to lead a team of Paint Sales associates, oversee daily operations, and ensure a premium customer experience.

You will handle color matching, tinting, stock, and merchandising while coordinating with the department manager. This full-time role requires 4–5 years in hardware retail and 3+ years in paint, with weekend availability and forklift ability.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in a high-volume hardware retail environment.
• At least 3+ years of experience with paint products, including tinting, mixing, and color matching.
• Prior experience leading, training, or supervising other associates.
• Self-motivated and available to work weekend hours.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs frequently and operate a forklift safely.

What you'll get to do:

• Lead, coach, and schedule a team of Paint Sales associates
• Oversee daily department operations, stocking levels, and merchandising

Requirements

• Self-motivated and available to work weekend hours
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs without assistance frequently

Nice-to-Haves:

• Prior experience owning department-level scheduling, inventory, or sales performance
