This hands-on sales and leadership role involves helping customers, overseeing inventory, merchandising, and day-to-day department operations. You will work with homeowners, contractors, and professional painters, driving department sales through product knowledge and superior service while maintaining an organized, well-stocked space.

Qualifications

• Paint, coatings, hardware, or home improvement experience strongly preferred.
• Retail leadership or department management experience preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Paint Department
• Help customers select paints, stains, coatings, and project supplies
• Mix, tint, and color-match paint accurately
• Build relationships with homeowners, contractors, and professional painters
• Drive department sales through strong product knowledge and customer service
• Manage inventory, stocking, merchandising, and product displays
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department
• Train and support team members on paint products and procedures
• Support overall store operations as needed
