Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to join our US Commercial team. In a fast-paced retail setting, you will help customers with product recommendations, color matching, and order support, delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help drive sales while keeping the store clean, organized, and customer-focused, with hours that run Monday through Sunday as listed, and pay at $16 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; pass background checks and physical.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor with customers.
• Ability to use a computer/keyboard for order processing and support.
• Flexible hours as needed by business demands.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs occasionally and 40–60 lbs regularly; standing etc.
• Ability to operate a hand truck or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding needs and recommending products.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products per customer specs.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands and store processes.
• Process customer orders/payments via phone, in-person, online, and email.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver orders with company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities.
