Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company in the United States is seeking a Store Sales Associate to join the US Commercial team. You will deliver an exceptional customer experience, provide product recommendations, color matching, and support orders in a fast-paced retail environment.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help drive sales, keep the store clean, and handle orders via phone, in-person, online, or email. This role starts at $16/hour with Mon-Fri 7am–5pm and Sat 8am–12pm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required; background checks may apply.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication and professional customer interaction.
• Ability to use a computer for order processing and support.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including weekends.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40-60 pounds routinely.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding needs and recommending products.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and orders.
• Mix, tint, and match paint to customer specifications.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands and store processes.
• Process orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email.
• Support sales initiatives and help achieve store goals.
• Load and deliver customer orders using company vehicle.
• Resolve concerns and escalate when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities.
