Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to serve our Portsmouth, VA store. You will assist wholesale customers, troubleshoot product issues, and help with specifications and demonstrations to support sales goals.

Responsibilities include training customers, coordinating with sales and product service, and maintaining high quality standards in paint handling and equipment use. Knowledge of tinting equipment and color matching is preferred and Spanish language

Qualifications

Minimum 18 years old and valid driver’s license.
Legal authorization to work without sponsorship.
Experience in delivery, retail, or customer service is preferred.
Ability to read/write/speak more than one language including Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in preparing paint specifications to meet products.
Troubleshoot online technical problems and formulate solutions.
Advise customers of product line changes and improvements.
Train customers on product knowledge and application methods.
Coordinate technical service issues between branch, sales reps and product service room.
Maintain store standards and support sales goals.
