Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support our retail stores. You will assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs, and recommend the right products and services while ensuring satisfaction and sales targets are met.

Role involves product knowledge, tinting and mixing, stock management, and potential delivery support. Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are a plus; must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and work varied hours.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship now or in the future.
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
Internal to Sherwin-Williams, at least a "meets expectations" rating on last performance appraisal.
Must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses for current position.

Responsibilities

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Stock shelves and set up displays.
Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries.
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
Comply with inventory control procedures.
Suggest ways to improve sales.
