Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking a Regional Field Leader, Associate Director to oversee a US Pain region and drive commercialization of JOURNAVX for acute pain.

You will lead 4–5 PTAMs and 4–5 TBMs, reporting to the Area Field Leader, and build deep relationships with hospitals, health systems, and clinicians. You will establish regional business plans, coach a high-performing team, and partner with internal stakeholders to shape formulary pathways and drive patient access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of experience in healthcare/biopharmaceuticals in marketing, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
• 10+ years of supervisory/management experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Leads their team within assigned geographies and with targeted HCPs and accounts, coaching and retaining a high performing team
• Establishes clear business plans, metrics, and goals for your region and motivates team to deliver results
• Supports business goals while leveraging data analytics and field insights for strategic guidance
• Guides management of strategic account plans and formulary/pathway placement within institutions
• Builds informed, long-term account relationships across institutional accounts
• Collaborates with US Pain Marketing Team to shape approaches that drive performance
• Creates a positive, collaborative team culture and develops goals to improve patient outcomes
• Partners with field team members and HQ to analyze market dynamics and address customer needs
• Ensures forecasting is met by coaching, supporting and driving a winning culture
• Models ethics and integrity in line with Vertex compliance
