Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated seeks a Regional Field Leader, Associate Director to oversee a US Pain region, driving commercialization of JOURNAVX and building deep strategic account relationships with hospitals, HCPs, and networks.

The role leads 4–5 Pain Territory Account Managers and 4–5 Territory Business Managers, shaping plans, coaching teams, and partnering with cross-functional units to meet forecast and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years in healthcare/biopharma marketing or equivalent
• 10+ years in supervisory/management roles
• Experience leading institutional sales teams and strategic accounts
• Proven ability to manage formulary, pathways, and protocol placements
• Knowledge of legal, regulatory and compliance environment

Responsibilities

• Lead a 4–5 pain PTAMs and 4–5 TBMs across assigned geographies
• Set clear business plans, metrics and regional goals
• Provide guidance using data analytics and field insights
• Support formulary/policy pull-through in selected institutions
• Develop long-term account relationships and cross-functional collaboration
• Model compliant, ethical behavior and drive a winning team culture
