Job summary

Lifekind Health in Cathedral City is seeking a full-time Scheduling Coordinator to be the primary contact for patients, surgeons, and insurance carriers. You will manage front-office tasks and accurate scheduling for pain management procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of medical office or ASC scheduling experience, proficiency with EHRs, and strong communication skills to support compliant, patient-centered operations.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of medical office or ASC scheduling/administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance eligibility, prior authorizations, and payer portals across multiple payers preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle front-office tasks: patient check-in/out, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, ensure pre-visit documentation is complete.
• Coordinate clinic and procedural scheduling in the EHR, verify codes and authorizations, communicate instructions.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, discuss financial responsibilities with patients, and ensure timely access to care.
