• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and gathering health information.
• Performs basic laboratory procedures using aseptic technique.
• Assists physician/APP with procedures such as pelvic exams and EMG.
• Administers routine medications under orders or standing protocols.
• Coordinates referrals and communicates with the care team for smooth clinic flow.
• Performs additional clinical support tasks as needed.
• Provides age-appropriate care and adheres to department policies.
