Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Kansas is hiring General Service Technicians. We train you on the job while you are paid, with no prior experience required.

Starting at $17.00 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities. You will perform tire mounting, oil changes, inspections, and maintain a clean shop; must be 18+ and have a valid driver's license. Flexible schedules, including Saturdays, are available.

Qualifications

• General understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using Multi-point Inspection and repair orders.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and organizes service area.
• Drives vehicles safely and may transport customers, parts, tires.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns.
• Adheres to company policies and flexible schedules including Saturdays.
