Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic vehicle services including oil changes, tire work, and inspections. You will train alongside ASE-certified technicians and have opportunities to advance toward ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience preferred; energetic and hardworking.
• Must be able to work Monday–Saturday.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• MVR screening required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their place of residence or business.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed.
• Keeps shop and areas clean and orderly; reports safety concerns.
• Follows safety procedures and documents vehicle condition.
