Sun Auto Tire & Service in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a General Service Technician to perform oil changes, tire services and basic maintenance. Responsibilities include driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the shop clean while following safety guidelines.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to learn, and ability to work weekends. Compensation starts at $15.15/hr with potential for advancement and benefits in a multi-location Sun Auto Network.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General understanding of under-the-hood mechanical and undercarriage assemblies preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Uses the Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order to document vehicle condition.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and organization.
• Drives vehicles safely and courteously; transports customers and parts as needed.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable.
• Adheres to safety procedures and reports hazards.
