Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to perform basic mechanical repairs, oil changes, tire services, and light vehicle maintenance. You will document vehicle conditions using our inspection process and assist with safety and emission inspections where allowed.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with pay up to $28.00 hourly plus flag hours on production. Benefits include closed Sundays, paid time off, 6 holidays, health/dental/vision, life insurance, a 401(k) match,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Possess a current, valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using the company’s inspection process/repair orders.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable and allowed.
