Job summary

Ferguson is offering a 10-week paid Sales Internship in multiple U.S. locations, including Los Angeles, Santa Ana, and other major markets. You will gain hands-on experience in customer service, sales processes, and branch operations while learning from seasoned sales and operations professionals.

Qualifications

• You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field and are a rising junior or senior.
• You are available to work 10 consecutive weeks during the summer (June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027).
• You are motivated, curious, and willing to learn by jumping in and building relationships.
• You enjoy teamwork and understand that strong communication, follow-through, and customer service are central to great work.
• You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change and teamwork matters.
• You have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Build customer service, product knowledge, sales process, and relationship management skills through real work in a Ferguson branch.
• Work alongside experienced sales, operations, and branch leaders who will help you understand how we serve customers and support each other as a team.
• Spend time in the warehouse, counter, inside sales, outside sales, and branch operations to see how every role contributes to the customer experience.
• Participate in leadership and sales development experiences that connect your learning to Ferguson’s business, culture, and values.
• Contribute to a sales-focused project that gives you an opportunity to solve a real business challenge and present your insights to leaders.
