Job summary

Ferguson is seeking motivated students for a 10-week paid Sales Internship in a local Ferguson branch. You will gain hands-on experience in customer service, product knowledge, and the sales process while learning from experienced sales and operations associates.

Spanning warehouse, counter, inside and outside sales, you will build relationships, contribute to real business challenges, and explore future opportunities, including the Sales Trainee Program, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales or related field, rising junior or senior.
• Available to work 10 consecutive weeks during the summer (June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027).
• Strong communication, curiosity, collaboration, and willingness to learn by doing.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Build customer service, product knowledge, sales process, and relationship management skills through real work in a Ferguson branch.
• Learn from experienced sales, operations and branch leaders and understand how we serve customers.
• Spend time in warehouse, counter, inside/outside sales, and branch operations.
• Participate in leadership and sales development experiences that connect learning to Ferguson’s business.
• Contribute to a sales-focused project and present insights to leaders.
