Job summary

Fuss & O’Neill, Inc. in the United States is seeking a civil engineering intern for a 12-week paid summer program.

You will assist design teams on site design projects and gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software under experienced mentors. The internship runs full-time Monday through Friday, with flexible/remote work opportunities, generous PTO and professional growth through courses and conferences.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Proficiency with MS Office programs
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred
• Ability to perform field work
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications
• Provide construction administration support
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro
