Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Oklahoma City offers a paid 10-12 week Management & Sales Internship providing hands-on experience in our retail stores, covering management, sales, and store operations. You'll travel with a Sales Representative and work with your management team on a project.

The program emphasizes customer experiences, business-to-business and retail exposure, and concludes with opportunities to join the Management and Sales Training Program; college grads not eligible for this internship.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university during the internship.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: at least one year in retail, delivery, or customer service.
• Preferred: bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages).
• Be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college at the start of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers to meet needs.
• Develop strong product knowledge to answer inquiries.
• Restock shelves and assist with inventory management.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store maintenance.
• Help with unloading deliveries and organizing stockrooms.
• Participate in training sessions and follow store policies.
• Collaborate with team to resolve customer concerns.
• Work on a team-based project addressing a real business challenge.
