Job summary

Sherwin-Williams invites students to join a paid Management & Sales Internship, a 10–12 week summer program in our paint stores. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, merchandising, and store operations while shadowing a Sales Representative and management team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at time of internship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly in-store and phone assistance to customers.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers to meet their needs.
• Develop strong knowledge of store merchandise to answer questions.
• Restock shelves and support inventory management and visual merchandising.
• Assist with POS transactions, product preparation, and store maintenance.
• Help unload deliveries and organize stockrooms for efficient inventory flow.
• Attend required trainings and follow store policies including safety and loss prevention.
• Support teammates to resolve basic customer concerns and complete shared tasks.
• Collaborate with interns on a team project addressing a real business challenge.
