Job summary

Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program designed for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns participate in development workshops, gain real project experience, and are mentored by managers across various tracks including business, IT, analytics, and more.

The program runs from June to August (up to 40 hours/week). Housing is not provided, and there may be remote work opportunities case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in teams.
• Proactive with a commitment to continuous improvement of skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with broker support for direct pay Medicare and related tasks.
• Attend broker events and help with tables and distribution of supplies.
• Work with a mentor on key strategic projects and complete tasks based on priorities.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
