Responsibilities

• Reconciling the premiums billed and payments received each month to identify and resolve shortage amounts, premium overpayments, refunds or adjustments to billing as needed
• Recovers unpaid premiums due through collection efforts aimed at the group and Provider/Subscriber Claims Negative Balances
• Initiative to work with Negative Balances to analyze population and identify trends; review DLP inventory for completeness
• Works with a mentor and supports key strategic projects
• Completes work assignments based on business needs and departmental priorities
• Performs a mix of technical and/or non-technical tasks covering a broad range of business-related projects
• Creates and delivers presentations at the completion of internship
• Maintains confidentiality and protection of member privacy per policies
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected
• Performs other functions as assigned by management
