Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc. runs a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduates and graduates. Interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored by managers, and develop through the summer with development workshops focused on core business concepts.

Tracks include Business Administration, IT, Actuarial, HR, Analytics & Data, and more. The program spans early June to mid-August (up to 40 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Majors include Legal, English, Business & Management, social sciences, math/data science.
• Prefer experience reading legal material; contracting/study of agreements is a plus.
• Maintain good academic standing and strong written/verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work in a team.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Research and read client agreements/contracts to create a contract inventory report.
• Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
• Complete assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy.
