Job summary

Publicis Collective in Chicago, IL is seeking a Manager, Paid Search to own day-to-day search media for assigned brands and lead campaign development, activation, and innovation. You will apply search mastery to achieve client goals and mentor the Paid Search Analyst team.

You’ll collaborate with the Associate Director on strategy communication, manage budgets, bidding, and testing plans, and leverage AI-powered features to drive efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paid search experience, ideally in an agency environment.
• Previous leadership/supervisory experience.
• Deep familiarity with search platforms: Google Ads, Bing Ads and Microsoft Ads.
• Mastery of reporting, analytics and competitive analysis tools.
• Expertise in Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data visualization).
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to account strategy, including budget development and KPIs.
• Lead client relationships and oversee day-to-day campaign execution.
• Provide direction to analysts for keyword and audience research.
• QA and oversee trafficking of plans into search platforms.
• Manage budgets, pacing and bid adjustments across campaigns.
• Develop optimization and testing plans and pull data for pitches.
• Utilize AI features to improve efficiency and outcomes.
