Job summary

Aerotek's Ascend Internship Program in Rockford offers a 10-week paid Sales internship designed to immerse you in recruiting, account management and field support with a strong sales emphasis. You will learn three business phases, engage with Aerotek employees, candidates, contractors and clients, and gain hands-on experience.

Successful completion could lead to a full-time offer into the Sales Development Representative track.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college/university pursuing a BA/BS (sales degree, minor or certificate preferred).
• Transitioning between junior and senior year is preferred.
• MS Office proficiency is expected.
• Customer service and sales experience are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Post available positions on the Internet via candidate tracking system to increase available candidate pool.
• Evaluate resumes received and qualify candidates for interview.
• Schedule candidates for interviews with Recruiters.
• Shadow Recruiters as they conduct calls, interviews and reference checks.
• Maintain all documentation using Aerotek’s Applicant Tracking System.
• Shadow Account Managers on client visits and the client acquisition process.
