Oatey is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer program in Cleveland. You will work with the Corporate Quality Team, supporting PPAP, data analysis, and hands-on testing in production and office settings.

The role emphasizes mentorship, growth, and exposure to leadership as you develop quality systems, procedures, and documentation while partnering with engineers and suppliers. You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s in an engineering discipline and possess strong communication,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following Engineering disciplines: General, Industrial/Systems, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Physics or Business.
• High energy, assertive self-starter
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints, GD&T
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Product Approval process (PPAP)
• Review and analyze data related to product performance and customer satisfaction
• Conduct and support product design validation testing
• Support product measurement systems, such as CMM
• Develop Quality Management system documents and procedures
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures
• Develop Audit plans
