Job description

CTG is seeking a Paid Media Manager to own and optimize paid media programs across the business, creating measurable, full-funnel campaigns that build awareness, engage priority accounts, generate qualified demand, and contribute to pipeline. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, this hands‑on manager will lead strategy, planning, execution, and measurement across LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and sponsored media programs with industry organizations and strategic partners.

The role will partner closely with Demand Generation, Content, Creative, Marketing Operations, Sales, and business line leaders to align targeting, messaging, campaign experiences, lead flow, attribution, and performance with CTG’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the strategy: Develop and lead CTG’s paid media strategy across LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, retargeting, account-based advertising, and sponsored media opportunities with industry organizations and strategic partners.
  • Translate priorities into plans: Create channel plans, audience strategies, budgets, forecasts, and campaign roadmaps aligned to business line priorities, integrated campaigns, and pipeline goals.
  • Lead from the front: Personally build, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns, remaining hands‑on in daily platform execution, pacing, troubleshooting, and performance improvement.
  • Develop targeting and campaign strategies: Partner with Demand Generation, Sales, and business leaders to define ideal customer profiles, priority accounts, buyer personas, intent signals, keywords, messaging, offers, and calls to action.
  • Manage sponsored media programs: Evaluate and oversee opportunities with industry associations, publishers, and strategic partners, including sponsored content, newsletters, webinars, digital placements, and lead‑generation programs.
  • Manage media investments: Manage budgets, pacing, purchase‑order coordination, invoice review, forecasts, and vendor relationships while ensuring investments stay on plan and deliver measurable value.
  • Optimize conversion: Establish testing roadmaps for audiences, creative, messaging, offers, keywords, bids, and landing experiences, and translate results into clear optimization actions.
  • Own the technology workflow: Serve as the business administrator for advertising platforms and partner with Marketing Operations on audience integrations, conversion tracking, analytics, CRM, marketing automation, and attribution workflows.
  • Ensure data quality: Partner with Marketing Operations and Sales Operations to maintain accurate tracking, naming conventions, lead routing, attribution, documentation, and reporting from media engagement through pipeline and revenue.
  • Report performance: Build dashboards and deliver regular updates on reach, engagement, conversion, lead quality, cost efficiency, account engagement, pipeline contribution, return on investment, experiments, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Maintain governance: Establish quality controls, documentation, platform access standards, naming conventions, and brand compliance across all paid programs.
  • Scale responsibly: Stay current on platform changes and B2B media trends, recommending new channels, tools, processes, and investment approaches that improve performance and scale.
Measures of Success
  • Qualified demand and pipeline sourced or influenced by paid media
  • Performance against agreed campaign, lead, pipeline, and return‑on‑investment targets
  • Target‑account reach, engagement, and progression
  • Conversion rates by channel, campaign, audience, segment, persona, offer, and landing experience
  • Cost efficiency, including cost per click, cost per lead, cost per qualified lead, and cost per opportunity
  • Lead quality, sales acceptance, and progression to opportunity
  • Budget pacing, forecast accuracy, and vendor performance
  • Tracking, attribution, CRM, and reporting accuracy and completeness
  • Testing velocity, learning adoption, and sustained performance improvement
Required Qualifications
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in paid media, performance marketing, digital marketing, or demand generation in a B2B environment; experience in technology or professional services is preferred
  • Demonstrated success developing and optimizing paid media programs that support awareness, account engagement, qualified demand, pipeline, and revenue objectives
  • Strong working knowledge of full‑funnel B2B marketing, account‑based marketing, buyer journeys, audience strategy, retargeting, lead generation, and conversion practices
  • Proven ability to manage campaign strategy, platform execution, budgets, forecasts, vendors, testing plans, and performance optimization

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, stakeholders, and vendors simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, judgment, and stakeholder‑management skills
