Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking motivated students for a 10–12 week Landscape Maintenance Internship in Garner, NC. This paid program combines hands-on field training with office exposure, designed to build practical skills in commercial landscape operations.

You will shadow teams across Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, and Sales, receive mentorship, and participate in leadership development, with a final presentation and potential for future employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, or related field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable in office and outdoor environments.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on field operations experience alongside crews.
• Shadow departments including Field Ops, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Receive dedicated mentorship and regular progress feedback.
• Develop leadership and professional etiquette skills.
• Present internship experience with key learnings at the end.
