Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Hospitality & Catering Intern for Summer 2027 in McLean, VA. The role involves rotating through multiple dining and event support functions, with duties from setting up events to guest services and barista tasks.

Applicants must be enrolled in a hospitality or culinary program and be available 20–40 hours weekly. Compensation is $20 per hour, with free meals and laundering services available at select locations.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college/university pursuing Hospitality Management and/or Culinary Arts.
• Available to work 20–40 hours per week.
• College credit is not required, but we will provide documentation if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through different roles depending on location and needs.
• Provide consistently friendly and courteous service to guests.
• Support catering events by setting up, arranging buffet stations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing cleanup.
• Assist with marketing tasks, including signage, seasonal decorations, and food holiday communications.
• Adhere to "platinum service" customer service standards.
• Review catering and front-of-house standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations.
