Job summary

FLIK Hospitality Group in Washington, D.C. offers a paid Hospitality & Event Planning Internship for Summer and/or Fall 2027.

The intern will support the conference and reception services team, helping create a warm, professional atmosphere for clients, executives and staff at all times. Candidates must be enrolled in a college/university hospitality program and may have 1 year of industry experience; 20–40 hours per week availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university pursuing Hospitality Management and/or Event Management.
• GPA requirement for Internship may apply; 1 year of industry experience is a plus.
• Available to work 20–40 hours per week; college credit not required but documentation provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support conference and reception services for meetings and events.
• Help establish a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients, executives and staff.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects between Conference Services and Reception Services.
• Participate in value-added program events and mentorship opportunities.
