Job summary

Arizona Public Service invites ABET accredited engineering students to join the Palo Verde Summer Internship, a paid 10-week program starting in May and ending in July. You will participate in hands-on projects across business, engineering, information systems and fundamentals in real work settings, with guidance from leaders and mentors.

Housing is provided for in-person interns. You will attend New Hire Orientation, professional development, and company tours while presenting your summer

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in ABET accredited Civil Engineering program.
• Minimum GPA 3.2.
• Knowledge of basic engineering principles.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs simple to intermediate analysis and designs.
• Assists in research, documentation, and technical reviews.
• Coordinates learning of engineering operations and applies it to tasks.
• Coordinates efforts with other disciplines to achieve project goals.
• Performs other related duties as required.
