Job summary

IMEG, an employee‑owned civil and structural engineering firm, seeks a Civil Engineering Intern for a 10‑12 week summer program in Greenwood Village, CO. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting municipal and transportation projects, learning design, field observations, and documentation under experienced engineers.

The program includes mentoring, real project work, and a potential path to full‑time roles.

Qualifications

Completed at least 2 years toward a BS in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
Interest in design consulting and civil engineering.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD and BIM is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with design portions of projects per code and IMEG standards.
Research resources for commercially available equipment.
Support client relations, project notebooks, and permanent record documentation.
Coordinate design and schedules with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical teams and suppliers.
Document design decisions and monitor progress for final checks.
Prepare and issue addendum information and review project documents for accuracy.
Conduct periodic job site observations and other services as required by the contract.
