Job summary

IMEG in Greenwood Village, CO offers a Summer 2027 Mechanical Engineering Intern program lasting 10-12 weeks, with hands-on design, analysis, and field observations under experienced engineers on hospitality-focused MEP projects.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in design consulting and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of projects for mechanical systems according to code and IMEG standards
• Assist with researching resources for commercially available equipment
• Assist with documenting design decisions and client instructions
• Assist with coordinating design and schedule with other disciplines
• Conduct periodic job site observations and support project progress
• Assist with budget considerations and cross-functional collaboration
• Assist with issuing addendum information and final checks
