Job summary

IMEG Corp in Havre, MT is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week summer program. You will work with experienced engineers on design, field inspections, reports, permits, and site drainage and grading designs, while supporting project documentation and client communication.

During the internship you’ll contribute to work across survey, tribal, and public works markets, gain hands-on experience, and learn IMEG’s collaborative culture in a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years toward a BS in Civil Engineering.
• Interest in design consulting and ability to communicate clearly.
• Experience with CAD, BIM, and Office software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of projects per IMEG standards.
• Research resources for commercially available equipment.
• Support client relations, project notebooks, and records.
• Coordinate design and schedules with related disciplines.
• Document design decisions and meetings for records.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final checks.
• Prepare and issue addendum information.
• Perform periodic job-site observations as required.
