Job summary

TRC is seeking highly motivated Civil Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 at our Augusta, ME office. This paid full-time internship runs June through August 2027, with potential to transition into a full-time role after graduation.

Interns will work under Project Managers and Team Leaders alongside engineers, scientists and technologists. Responsibilities include assisting with engineering drawings and calculations, supporting design tasks, and taking on additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent data collection, technical writing and communication skills.
• Collaborative, organized, self-motivated, detail oriented.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Earth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of engineering drawings and calculations.
• Support civil engineering design tasks including sheet setup, drafting, and proposal development.
• Support additional tasks as necessary.
