Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking motivated Civil Engineering Interns for our Summer 2027 program out of the Waltham, MA Office. This is a paid full-time internship running June through August 2027 with potential to transition into a full-time role upon graduation.

Interns will work under Project Managers and Team Leaders, partnering with engineers, scientists, and technologists to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering tasks, drawings, and calculations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent data collection, technical writing and communication skills.
• Collaborative, organized, self-motivated, detail orientated person.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Earth.
• Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of engineering drawings and engineering calculations.
• Support civil engineer design tasks including sheet setup, drafting, and proposal development.
• Support additional tasks as necessary.
