Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring Part-time, hourly Behavior Therapist Interns to support pediatric therapy across the Westfield area and surrounding communities. You will deliver direct ABA instruction under supervision and collaborate with BCBA and therapy teams to support each child’s educational plan.

The role requires passion for helping children and families, with at least 1 year of supervised experience or enrollment in an undergrad program in psychology, healthcare, or related field.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children, families, and therapists.
• Experience with ABA preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of 20-hour classroom training and competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate with family members by providing debriefs and resources for home use.
• Collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families per state and federal laws.
