Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator to educate patients and caregivers about PAH therapies, including oral, inhaled, subcutaneous and infused regimens. This role blends in-home patient education with remote teaching, requiring travel within Oklahoma and surrounding regions.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with physicians and teams, building trust with patients, and delivering education via video conference from the employee's home about 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• Must live within one hour of OKC Will Rogers International Airport.
• Registered Nurse with current OK license and ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
• Two years of high-tech infusions in critical/acute care or home infusion experience.
• Willingness to travel as required by the role.
• Maintain CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Consult with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations and sales to coordinate plan of care.
• Work within a specialized nursing area and home care autonomy.
• Assist patients initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled PAH therapies.
• Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers one-on-one.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal customer service and use advanced computer skills.
• Participate in on-call as business needs require.
