Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Carolinas Medical Center PACU. The role focuses on leading nursing practice, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring high-quality postoperative care.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, participating in interviews, and maintaining compliance with regulations while supporting the manager and delivering safe, efficient care during 11a–11p shifts across three days per week.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing and BSN required.
• Minimum two years nursing experience; prior management preferred.
• Enrollment in BSN program within 1 year of hire may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager with nursing practice and care delivery in the department.
• Assist with interviewing, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Coordinate communication at regular intervals through shifts via staff meetings/huddles.
• Collaborates to ensure compliance with federal/state laws and policies.
