Job summary

Advocate Health’s High Point Medical Center in North Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse for the PACU to apply evidence-based nursing care, monitor patient recovery, and collaborate across disciplines. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and continuous improvement.

Two: the position requires a Board-certified nursing program graduate with an RN license; BSN is preferred. Targeted hours include Day/Evening with on-call, 40 hours per week in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the relevant state(s).
• BSN degree preferred for nursing leadership and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Maintain a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and be ready to float as needed.
