Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center PACU in Charlotte, NC seeks a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing staff, manage patient flow, and coordinate care in a fast-paced post-anesthesia recovery unit.

You will mentor nurses, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and partner with the nurse manager to drive quality, safety, and favorable outcomes for surgical patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BSN required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance nursing practice and delivery of care.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Assists with coordination of communication via staff meetings/huddles.
• Collaborates to ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess satisfaction and care quality.
• Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers.
• Identifies outcomes to guide continuity of care and department operations.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and disseminates information to team.
